My favorite pig 🐷

Image
Hello, my name is Nevaeh! welcome to my blog, The Daily Oink.  I’m gonna be talking about my favorite pig and why.  This pig was my favorite pig. His name was BB short for bucking bronco.  This pig had good muscle quality, perfect amount of protein, nice walking ability, and most of all listened amazingly.  This type of breed is a Berkshire. Most Berkshires are black pigs sometimes they will have a white feet or a belt..  This pig was my best friend for 5 months until he had a hernia and he had to go be put down. It was very sad and heartbreaking. I was devastated to see BB go through this. He was an incredible pig, he was full of energy and he was so happy to be around. Tacking care of him was not a chore. It was something I looked forward to every morning and night going to the barn and seeing him. BB was my favorite pig of all time.   https://www.ottenwaltershowpigs.com/april-30-2022/ Berkshires are popular show pigs  known for their distinct...

Smart pigs

Hello and welcome back to my blog. My name is Nevaeh Wormington.  I’m going to be talking about how smart pigs are.  When it comes to discussing animal intelligence, pigs often tend to be overlooked in favour of more commonly recognized intelligent species like dolphins, dogs, and primates. However, it may surprise you to learn that pigs are highly intelligent creatures.   Pigs are smart in many ways. Pigs are one of the most intelligent animals.  Pigs have advanced skills, including excellent long term memory, complex social intelligence, and even the capacity for empathy, allowing them to learn new tasks.  This also helps with FFA and 4-H show pig to learn how to train and work with the animals.  “Pigs are extraordinary animals with remarkable cognitive abilities. Recognizing and spreading awareness of their intelligence can lead to more compassionate and respectful treatment of these amazing animals.” Said  https://www.worldanimalprotection.ca/blog...
